Helene Hadad – Massage
Hi, my name is Helene Hadad. I was born and raised in Niagara Falls, N.Y. I attended the University at Buffalo as a dual major, receiving my bachelorʼs degree in Psychology as well as a bachelorʼs degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences in 1994. I then attended the New York Institute of Massage and graduated in 1996, receiving a New York State Massage License.
My passion has been clinical and sports injuries, prevention and rehabilitation. I have concentrated my continuing education in these disciplines, studying Orthopaedic Sports Massage, Sports Massage Therapy, Sports Acupressure/Sports Tuina. I have also acquired the skills of many other techniques including deep tissue myofascial release, joint capsule release, strain and counterstain, clinical and medical massage for pre/post surgery, and CranioSacral Therapy.
I started working with various different Chiropractors while studying for my massage license in New York. Upon moving to Texas in 1997, I was able to work in a large physical therapy clinic for a couple years. All of this had prepared me to work with many different acute and chronic injuries and conditions. I started working exclusively with various professional NFL, MLB, NHL and NBA athletes since the year 2000. Over the years, I have had the privilege to work on over 300 professional athletes, venturing into other professional sports arenas such as gymnastics, golf, race car driving and track. Iʼve also had much success working with concussions, neck and back injuries and other various traumas to the central nervous system using CranioSacral Therapy and other myofascial techniques.
Thank you for your interest and I look forward to working with you,
Helene Hadad, B.A., L.M.T.
